3.) SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER ABILITIES
As an occasional performer on the Shinjuku nightclub circuit, Tsubasa possesses a knack for both playing the guitar and singing. It’s also safe to point out that although her skills for hand-to-hand combat are a mixture of self-taught and a more lax version of kenpo, they come close to, if not on par with some fighters whom have actually received professional training. Though she does not seem to look the part, she is constantly able to maintain an average to marginally high grade in class and seems to show a special interest in writing. With concern to her attitude, Tsubasa comes out at someone down to earth and very sensible in money matters and those of consequential outcomes. She’s pragmatic and calm with most of her emotions. She’s also a generally good cook.
4.) CHARACTER HINDRANCES
Although she possesses a bank account with sufficient savings, Tsubasa is forced to maintain a humble lifestyle. This includes everything from the foldable and collapsible furniture to the dingy apartment run by a schizophrenic, paranoid landlord who believes that the world is governed by fairies. She pays for most of her financial debts through her savings save that of her tuition which is paid by her father who works for a record company in Osaka. Her miscellaneous expenses are answered through various oddjobs and gigs. Since Tsubasa is first and foremost pragmatic, she sometimes comes across as someone who is cynical. Her calmness tends to lean towards being detached from her feelings, making her seem to be more of the indifferent type, sometimes even cruel. Being of legal age, Tsubasa has a tendency to be a hard drinker. She smokes on occasion and has been known for her interesting use of a cuss-filled vocabulary. She can also become extremely lazy at times, causing her to subsist on the three basic food groups, namely: canned, instant, and microwaveable.
5.) SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY TRAITS
Tsubasa is hardly fazed by change. Although she tends to cover up her emotions and put up a façade of a pregnant dog, she’s actually well-adjusted and hardly off sync with herself. Her constant fear, though not very easy to spot, is that of being blamed for the death of her mother. She hates to be branded as weak and indecisive even if she ends up acting more on impulse. She has a fondness for rock bands and shonen manga (guy comics) as well as wrestling and Stephen King books.
6.) GOALS AND AMBITIONS
If ever able to finish her stint at AEGIS in one piece, Tsubasa hopes to be able to graduate from Toudai and acquire a job as a novelist or possibly a mangaka.

Kairi Hishourui = An ex-boyfriend back in high school. Although she seems to show no interest in him any longer, her actual feelings for him are yet to be clarified.
Hazuki Eibara = A young man she met during her first year of college, also her acting best friend and confidant.

Park Shin-Hua = Her deceased mother.
Subaru Kusanagi = Her older cousin and guardian.

3.) SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER ABILITIES
Quite the able healer, he is able to give aid to anyone who need his service both in and out of the school grounds. A combination of medical knowledge as well as part of his upbringing he posesses skill as well as a little bit of something else to attend to the ails of his patients. His fighting ability, on the other hand, comes from the said upbringing, for as a child he was trained as a ninja by the same person who taught his father, Matsahiko Kameshiro. However, he stopped formal learning in order to pursue formal studies and later on graduated as a doctor. He has, however, not stopped training his body, and has learned some tricks of his own. These are mostly aquired through his knowledge of the basics as well as his imagination. Being such a person also means that he can tend to himself properly, and is quite used to being alone. He does not mind the company of others, however, and maintains his cheerful attitude when alone or when with others. Something to be considered special about him is his ability to pick up a hint of emotion from the people around him. He cannot explain how he does so, but he does try to react to the feeling accordingly.
4.) CHARACTER HINDRANCES
He is not a person to look upon negative things as hindrances and makes do with whatever he has. Though, as he may not admit it, his body is weaker than that of an average fighter. And though he may show quite the endurance, mostly it is from pushing his own limits, and probably will take it's toll on his body despite his training. Also, despite being well off in terms of funds, he does have to sacrifice a bit in order to satisfy his addiction to manga.
5.) SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY TRAITS
Always available to aid patients, he is usually the person that the students ask for help - even when they aren't in any way requiring medical attention. Despite this, however, he isn't much too popular with the rest of the faculty members due to his stubborn attitude and his decision to side with the students no matter how lost the case may be. He does not, however, fail to act when the troublemaker is getting out of hand. Cool and composed, he rarely faces people without a smile or at least a light hearted expression on his face.
6.) GOALS AND AMBITIONS
At the moment, he is content with his life and job and only wishes to keep things the way it is.

Kameshiro Matsahiko - his mentor as a ninja. Also the father figure for Mitsuaki.

3. SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER ABILITIES
As an artist, Kira tends to observe everything around her. Staring has been Kira’s habit ever since she was a child and as it turns out, this disturbing and rather funny habit of hers has further enhanced her reflexes and eyesight. She is also very nimble with her hands. Kira comes from a rich family of doctors and politicians. She was taught various fighting techniques by her mother since she was 3 years old. Kasumi (her mom) made sure that she would be able to protect herself from any harm especially with their family background. These techniques however focus more on defense rather than offense. While in class, Kira spends most of her time drawing, daydreaming or sleeping. But, despite her lack of interest in academics, she manages to keep an above average grade; and is generally very bright. She is also a veteran cosplayer and her cosplay creations are often crowd favorites in nation-wide conventions, she has only won once though. She can also play the piano.
4.) CHARACTER HINDRANCES
Kira and her parents moved to Japan when she was eight years old. After a tragic incident that happened on Kira’s 13th birthday, her parents went back to England leaving her alone to study. She is very clumsy and lazy. She is also rather sickly since she is not allowed to go outside the house due to strict rules given to her by her paranoid bodyguard who overreacts to the death threats Kira is given everyday. Because of the closure, Kira has lost all sense of direction and can easily get lost anywhere. She is afraid of the dark. She also spends too much time infront of the computer or the television…well, that’s what her bodyguard says anyway.
5. SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY TRAITS
Kira has a knack for capturing emotions and presenting them on paper or canvas. Her art is well-known due to the internet. And this has earned her a pending scholarship in a prestigious school of arts in Europe. Kira is a loner. She finds it easier to open up to very few friends online. She does not feel comfortable with making many friends in real life due to a very tragic event that happened when she was 13. She also has a bad habit of cutting her arm when she gets too depressed. As a very sensitive and naïve person she tends to lock herself in her own world. She is actually a very light-hearted person. She loves people and she hates seeing them get hurt; she can make friends but chooses not to get too close. She thinks that she will only pose as a threat to their safety if she does. She considers Reki her bodyguard as her best friend. And they are both more than willing to give up their lives for each other’s safety. She feels that her life isn’t worth much and holds very little concern for her own welfare. She easily gives her trust away too. Though she may seem quiet in class, she gives off a genki attitude when in the company of her favorite people. Her art mainly consists of endearing images that give off a rather hopeful and enlightening feel.
6. GOALS AND AMBITIONS
She plans on getting her manga published before she finishes high school. After graduating high school she will move to Europe and study in the school of arts where she has earned a scholarship. As naïve as it sounds, she wants to touch as many people as she can with her art. She wants to help Reki realize his dream of becoming a cook. And she dreams of being able to create a graphic novel with Neil Gaiman one day.
7.) ALLIES AND ENEMIES
Reki Futaba- Her paranoid bestfriend/bodyguard/trainer who wants to become a chef. He came from a sought after family of bodyguards.
Kasumi Amano- Kira’s mother who was once a well known fighter in Japan. She was Ken’s bodyguard, until they got married. She accompanies her husband everywhere.
Ken Amano- Kira’s father. Many people are after him due to unclosed reasons, mainly because he is very influential and rich. He can’t go anywhere without his wife beside him.
Amy- Kira’s most trusted online friend. They have never met in real life and only use aliases to recognize each other.

3. SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER ABILITIES
Nanashi owes her knowledge in martial arts to the people who took her in, Rai and Alice Kitaka. The said two are renowned individuals in the underground society so they felt obliged to teach her at least a thing or two about self defense and martial arts in general.
Her choice of weapon is her jump rope. As a kid who most likely wasn't brought up to face the harsh realities of the world at quite an early age, the siblings, Rai in particular, had a hard time teaching Nanashi. All she wanted was to play and have fun. Her favorite toy was the jump rope. Rai took advantage of this and taught her how to use the jump rope as weapon.
The jump rope Nanashi is using now is a gift from Rai, a little something from teacher to student. The jump rope is customized. It can change its length depending on the yielder's desire, and it can act as a whip by removing one of its handles. Nanashi treasures this gift dearly.
4. CHARACTER HINDRANCES
Though Nanashi has somehow mastered controlling her emotions, there are still inevitable times when her emotion gets the better of her, usually when it is about her family/past.
She was only eight years old when Alice found her lurking and staring at the carnations around the front lawn of their house. The name Nanashi was only given to her by Alice, while the surname Akagawa was taken from a poem written of a piece of parchment Nanashi has when they first found her. The poem seemed like a family insignia of sorts, so even if Nanashi's whole name may seem made up, Rai had reason to believe that Nanashi’s surname is actually Akagawa.
The siblings' knowledge of Nanashi's past is very limited. They have tried questioning her from time to time, but it’s either Nanashi was too young to remember, or she just doesn’t really want to talk about it. They also tried looking for her real family, but they would just end up with an almost empty wallet and a very irked and tired Alice.
As far as Nanashi is concerned, her family is the Kitaka’s, and she has no intentions of finding her so-called real family whatsoever.
5. SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY TRAITS
Looking and acting the part, Nanashi’s often to be mistaken for a freshman high school student. She can be very ornate, to the point that it can get into your nerves. She has a certain fascination for knives and stuffed animals. It is probably due to the way she is brought up and the way her personality really is that her interests border from cute and prissy to lethal and gruesome. Mischievous and quite the trickster. Alice has often pointed that she can be pretty bratty at times but as Rai would always say, "She's just a kid."
6. GOALS AND AMBITIONS
As of now, her goals are just of your regular high school student: finish high school, get into college and lead a happy, normal life, in her own definition of normal, anyway.
7. ALLIES AND ENEMIES
Kitaka Rai - 29 years old(deceased). Nanashi's guardian/mentor and Alice's older brother. He was a very prominent and active individual in the underground. He passed away when Nanashi was 13.
Kitaka Alice(Arisu) - 24 years old. Nanashi's guardian and one of the teachers in school. She continued to train Nanashi when her older brother, Rai, passed away. As much as she hates to admit it, she has become a mother figure to Nanashi.
Haruno Yuki - 18 years old. Her best friend and companion in school. She also has a fascination with swords and the like. Quite the opposite of Nanashi. A meek and gentle lady, as long as she's not holding a sword.
Raikatuji Mitsuo - 18 years old. Nanashi's male best friend/play thing. Nanashi enjoys teasing "Mit-chan" by all means. Usually, she'd tease about him being gay and the fun part for her is his rather violent reactions towards it. She refuses to call him "Rai-kun" like most people.
Kage-san - An enigmatic man in a black trench coat that used to stalk her when she was young. Being clueless as she was, Nanashi referred to the person as "Kage-san", for she always saw him hiding in the shadows. He never really seemed to be a threat, but there's just something about him that strikes fear in her heart.
Kuma - Nanashi's pet chow chow that Rai got her for her 13th birthday.

Human (Japanese Citizen) High School History Teacher; Coach of the School Kendo Team Former Leader of the Shoju Family’s Youth Division Avid Gamer and History Enthusiast
3.) SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER ABILITIES
Given what he used to be, Hikaru has a rather extensive network and good street sense… he generally knows when to stay out of trouble or cause it according to whatever circumstance suits him at the moment. As for fighting, he employs freestyle martial arts; real combat and first-hand experience was his teacher. The only art he formally trained in was kenjutsu. The true highlight, however, is his discipline called the Path of Blades… this grants the follower an attunement to sharp edges (i.e. knives, swords, nails, broken glass). He can manipulate them without having to lift a finger within a certain range (i.e. classroom). Of course, the number and size of sharp edges that he can control are all dependent on concentration; as it saps a lot out of him, he’d sooner go hand-to-hand than anything else. Hikaru is not a hard person to talk to; he always seems to be available whenever one would need him, and sometimes even when no one needs him at all. The warm and witty countenance that he projects succeed in misleading many from the truths behind his character.
4.) CHARACTER HINDRANCES
The Shoju Gang were never keen on letting their best leave them behind… they pester Hikaru constantly about returning to them and working “for the glory of the corporation”, and do their best to make life hard for him in hopes of him getting fed up and coming back. Regardless of whatever smarts and abilities he has at his disposal, it’s simply too difficult to evade everything that the Shoju care to throw at him whenever they can. On another note, the Path of Blades is an unforgiving discipline… it thrives on devouring the flesh of its followers. It is, therefore, ironic how people who follow the Path grow stronger even as their bodies weaken; the grisly wounds painted upon their backs are marks of the contract they have made. Lastly, Hikaru smokes like a chimney and pops painkillers like there’s no tomorrow. He’s not much for alcohol, but when he does drink he drinks a mother load.
5.) SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY TRAITS
Hikaru has very little faith in mankind. To him, there are only three types of people: the useful, the useless, and those that get in his way and must be eradicated. Of course, the only exception to this mandate would be the few he counts as friends… he’d sell himself dearly for them. On another note, Hikaru truly enjoys the thrill of the hunt and the power rush in killing. Pain does not discourage him; in fact, it makes him try and fight even harder.
6.) GOALS AND AMBITIONS
The fate of the Shoju mean little to Hikaru; he isn’t hell bent on destroying them or anything of the such. If they leave him alone, fine: he’ll have more time to do his own things. If they stand in his way, fine: he’ll fight them to the last man. Right now, he’s having fun where he’s at — everything else can come in later.
7.) ALLIES AND ENEMIES
Eiji Kurayama = Aged 17. Son of Tsuzuku Kurayama, a former debt collector for the Shoju Family who fell from grace and was destroyed for it… the only reason why Tsuzuki and his family are alive now is because Hikaru’s group refused to follow orders and erase them.
Alistair Mordechai = Aged 49. Also known as “The Seer” in the Underworld networks… a former hit man from the Irish mafia who carved a bloody path to becoming a free lance with his prowess. He and Hikaru go back a long way.
Yasamu Shinta = Aged 43. Hikaru’s older brother and a former member of the personal guard to Mitsoumi Shoju, the leader of the Shoju family. The two of them left the Shoju together. Their relationship used to be very strained, but things are patching up slowly. VERY slowly.
Savois Montessi = Aged 37. Yasamu’s “long-time companion” as Hikaru’s older brother puts it; in truth, the two are practically married. Works as a doctor at San Angelica’s Hospital, but she moonlights as an independent at night, treating patients who can’t go to normal hospitals (i.e. gangsters).
Rethe Kyriff = Aged 16. The “boy wonder” who took over Hikaru’s position with the Shoju… contrary to popular belief, however, the two of them are great friends. Hikaru was hoping to get Rethe out of the syndicate also, but the boy can’t leave, not without his mother.
Mitsoumi Shoju = Aged 32. Hikaru’s former employer. As much as he regrets losing someone with so much skill and potential, Mitsoumi will stop at nothing to bring Hikaru back under his command. Either that, or he will kill the man himself.

3. Significant Character Abilities
Eiji can’t quite focus on actual battling just yet. He’s too busy trying to find a stable place to stay and his studies. He usually backs out of unnecessary fights if he thinks of them as too strong for his level, if they are of the same level; he spars with them just to get more experience as a fighter. He still has decent skill in some martial arts namingly Karate do and Taekwondo, which he learned from his mother back then. However, his small boarding house doesn’t provide enough space to practice regularly, so he brushes up on his skills by beating on the drunkards who cause trouble in the pub he works in, named “Stray Cats Heaven”. Because of his serious nature, he tends to get fairly average grades. He is also serious with his work because he earns money for his own miscellaneous spending. After all, everyone’s got to live one way or another.
4. Character Hindrances
Recently moving into the school from one of the farther away provinces, he finds it hard to find similarities between himself and his classmates at school. His father once a debt collector of the Shoju yakuza clan but failed to do his duty for reasons he refuses to say or even mention. Hikaru Shinta – the leader of the Shoju’s Youth Division at the time – refused to erase the Kurayama; this is why the family is still alive now. Now, out of depression, he does not work. Eiji’s mother, out of love, tends to him and his needs, his father got used to not working, and now all he does is be idle in his house. His mother owns a small family dojo back in his hometown, which earns the main income. Though, now she is growing old and retirement draws near. His mother, Akuro, used what little money and savings she had to send him to a good school in Tokyo city. She believes that Eiji is the key to restoring the family's former glory. He now lives in a small dingy boarding house, which is scheduled to close within the following weeks. His mother sends small amounts of money to cover up his food expense and the rent. He earns his allowance by working a part time job at the Stray Cat’s Heaven as a bouncer. He is now looking for a stable place to live in. Do NOT give him strong alcoholic drinks, his whole personality and attitude change drastically when drunk. He tends to say his opinions about people without a second thought, he announces his secrets for the whole world to hear, and he goes cussing like there was no tomorrow. His friends get a kick out of seeing him drunk, because when in this state, he seems like a whole different person, which is why he will refuse to drink anything which might render him to this state.

5. Significant Personality Traits
Eiji is rather serious with the things he must do. He does not fool around when he's doing what he is obliged to. His passiveness in speach does not make him unfriendly. He talks politely but tends not to give off too much of what he thinks of the person he is talking to or about. He’s not the type to walk up to people and converse; he usually waits for them to spark a conversation with him. By experience, he makes longer lasting friends this way. He tries his best not to lose his cool; he doesn’t want to show a bad side of him for he already has only a handful of friends. Due to family crisis at a young age and the manner he was raised, he grew more mature than most people his age, also making him seem a bit colder. He thinks it’s better to let fate take care of the people who tease him for this reason or that. He dislikes people who make others outcast for unreasonable things, he thinks of them as immature, stupid and shallow. A strange habit of his would be to put black pepper on almost anything he eats, which is usually meat. He tends not to like vegetables at all. He wishes to aid his mother and father and give them a better life. Eiji believes that the only way to do this is to do well in his education and to find a stable and working job.
7. Allies and Enemies
Akuro Kurayama – Age 45. Eiji’s mother. Supplies Eiji with enough money for the rent and electric bills. Sends it to him via mail. To her, Eiji is the hope of the family to be able to rise to their former state.
Tsuzuku Kurayama – Age 47. Eiji’s father. Currently a jobless man living on Akuro’s her work. As of now, he has no intention of getting a job.
Kumiko Asano – Age: 18. The eccentric friend of Eiji, also living in the same boarding house. She is not too bothered by the shutting down of it, for she will move back to her parent’s house until she finds a better place to live. She also was the one who offered his job as a bouncer in the Stray Cat’s Heaven, for it is owned by her parents.
Etsuya Hagino – Age 19. One of the good friends Eiji has made in the short time he’s been in the school, he’s a bit of a troublemaker yet he knows what to do to escape from punishment. He plays many practical jokes on various people namely classmates and some teachers; if it weren’t for the fact that he was a nice guy, he wouldn’t have any friends. Though he gives the appearance of a true blue troublemaker, he knows when to draw the line.
Hikaru Shinta – Old friend of the Kurayama family. He and his gang refused to erase the Kurayama after they failed to do the upkeep for the Shoju family, the yakuza group that ruined Eiji’s family. He now serves as a teacher and the kendo coach of Eiji’s school.

1. Character Template Name: Aetna Murume Aliases: Most people at school call him "Ae" or "Fisherboy". He hasn't made a name for himself in the battlefield as of yet. Age: Seventeen Gender: Male
2. Character Archtypes Human His father is Japanese and his mother is Australian Senior Highschool student (He studied early) Heir to the small family business; Upper middle class
3. Significant Character Abilities Aetna is more on the academic side than the physical. He prefers merely observing and gathering data than actively participating in fights. He can, however, hold his ground against the common thugs and gangsters, and can weild his staff fairly well. He finds it terribly difficult to keep up to par with upperclass fighters, especially those he can't predict. His staff handling, he learned from a slightly older cousin who visited for half a year some time ago. Aetna is more on defending, and works best with a partner who he can spot for.
4. Character Hindrances From a small fishing village along the coastline somewhere south of Tokyo, Aetna finds it difficult to mingle with his classmates and peers at school. His family owns half the fishing boats in the village; a small business, but prospering. Oddly, Aetna never learned how to fish (the experimental tosses of his tackle aside) and swim. He has a mildly delicate consistitution, but holds up rather well most of the time, as most of his battles last only a few minutes at a time. This is something that Shimeya is currently trying to help him with, as the albino himself knows the consequences of easily tiring out during battle. His mother started him on school early, and insisted that he concentrate on his education, so apart from being logical and rational, he's pretty useless around the house. He had been sent to Tokyo, since Mrs. Murume thought of city schools as better ones. He is currently living in an apartment, and his money provided for by his mother (who sends his allowance monthly). He is pretty well off, and all he has to do is study. He can't help but think that it would be for the best if he found himself a room mate, though, preferably someone who can cook. One can only take so much microwaveable junk before one gets homesick.
5. Significant Personality Traits To "fit in," Aetna tries his best to keep his calm and smart image on at all times, as that was how he dealt with his neighbors back home. Unfortunately, his naivety and hot temper often leads to rather embarrassing moments. Once annoyed, expect veins to start popping over his temple, and his fists clenching at his side. Most people who know him are often amused by his obvious efforts to contain his temper. Efficiency is something he requires of himself and other people, as well as the value of being pragmatic. He dislikes people asking him for advice unless he is willing, at the moment, to give it, and people bugging him about his blond hair. He has preference over spicy food, but can't cook them. He can cook good ramen, but as far as culinary skills go, Aetna is lacking. Aetna is also a gentleman, as his mother had been very strict with his manners. He sometimes tend to shy away from females, because he is somewhat intimidated by his own mom. Also, Aetna is an atheist. This did not stop him from entering a Catholic school, as it was one of the best around, however. Aetna likes reading classic books, a good example would be Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. He always has a bible with him, oddly enough, but only for him to tear several pages from when he sees fit.
6. Goals and Ambitions A goal is something that Aetna doesn't have at the moment, unless reaching his mother's rather high expectations can be considered as one. Perhaps being independent with enough know-how to survive on his own is what his goal is.
7. Allies and Enemies
Shimeya Adelphoi = His older-by-a-year cousin who taught him how to handle his staff when he visited for half a year. He studies i the same university, also as a senior, but in the classroom next door.
Tsuki Ariyoshi = Shimeya's abnormal partner who was always rude towards Shimeya and Aetna, but is actually a softie. A freshman in the same university.
Keara Murume = Aetna's younger sister. Eight years old. A brat.
Murai Murume = Aetna's father who just basically heads the fishermen of the village. Traditional Japanese man who gets flustered around his Australian wife.
Candice Murume = Aetna's mother who is the one actually running the family. Has a lot of expectations from her son, most of which include medals and trophies for academic awards. ]
